Description

The code in Moberg_Kellner_Neubert_2014_metacommunity_model.m allows one to calculate the steady-state proportion of patches in various states, the alpha diversity, and the profit for the null and facilitation models as described in the main text. The parameters which may be edited (e.g., the propagule production rate) are in the first section ‘community parameters.’ This script generates two plots, showing profit and diversity for both models as a function of harvest rate.
