Appendix B. Correlations between TRMM precipitation estimates and ground measured precipitation.

In this appendix we present temporal correlations (1998–2011) between TRMM precipitation estimates and ground measured precipitation for a network of 21 meteorological stations from Uruguay (Dirección Nacional de Meteorología and Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria, INIA).

Table B1. Correlations between TRMM precipitation estimates and ground measured precipitation for 21 meteorological stations for the period 1998–2011. For each meteorological station (Site name), latitude (lat), longitude (long), elevation in meters above sea level (Elevation (m.a.s.l.)) and the values of correlations at a monthly resolution (monthly correlation) and at an annual resolution (annual correlation) are shown. P values (p-val) and degrees of freedom (df) are also shown.
