Correlations between (de-meaned) timeseries of nearshore settlement rates at various distances from shore and intertidal settlement rates (including 2-day lags) confirm coupling of larval supply and settlement of mussels and barnacles at Elands Bay (as shown by Hoffmann et al 2012), but not at Cape Columbine.
