Appendix C. Chlorophyll-a concentration and sea surface temperature for six sampled islands of the Line Islands archipelago.
Table C1. Six sampled islands of the Line Islands archipelago. Data on chlorophyll-a concentration ( [chl-a] ) and sea surface temperature (SST) extracted from the Ocean Color Radiometry Online Visualization and Analysis Monthly Data tool in NASA Giovanni's Ocean Portal (NASA). Fishing status was inferred from information on historical and modern fishing on each island (Sandin et al. 2008; Maragos et al. 2008b).
