Appendix E. Response ratio ANOVAs and ANCOVA for 2011 hand pollination and egg removal experiment.

Table E1. Response ratio ANOVAs and ANCOVA for 2011 hand pollination and egg removal experiment. To examine if genders were differentially limited by pollen and/or predation by Hylemya, we compared response ratios (treatment/control stalk values) from our 2011 hand pollination and egg removal experiment. The table below summarizes ANOVAs (F statistics, followed by p values in parentheses) using the response to treatments (treatment/control) for different measures of reproductive success as dependent variables and predation rates, and ANCOVA for seed set, testing the effects of gender, hand pollination (HP), egg removal (ER), site, and their interactions, from the hand pollination and egg removal experiment. The ANCOVA for seed set included the treatment : control stalk ratio of flowers as a covariate. Significant factors and interactions (p < 0.05) are bolded.
