Table B1. Stable isotope and foraging area information for 60 loggerheads (Caretta caretta) sampled in this study. ID indicates whether the turtle was used in the calibration (C) or validation (V) data set. Nest site abbreviations: EAFB = Eglin Air Force Base, SJP = St. Joseph Peninsula, CK = Casey Key, KI = Keewaydin Island, DRTO = Dry Torgtugas. Right and left flipper tags were used to distinguish individuals. Stable isotope values (δ¹³C and δ¹⁵N) represent the most recent scute layers reflecting approximately 0.6 yr of resource. Satellite tags were applied to all individuals and the foraging site latitude and longitude represents the centroid of the maximum convex polygon. Individuals were assigned to one of five foraging areas for nominal assignment defined in the text: SGoM = Southern Gulf of Mexico, NGoM = Northern Gulf of Mexico, EGoM = Eastern Gulf of Mexico, SNWA = Subtropical Northwest Atlantic, SAB = South Atlantic Bight. Body size, or curved carapace length (CCL) was measured on the date of sampling.
