Table A1. Site locations, biocontrol histories, soil nutrients and percent cover estimates. Soil nutrient values are the average from 12 samples per site (nitrogen is given as % N; phosphorous and potassium are given in units of mg/kg). Cover estimates are shown for four common dominant wetland macrophytes at the scale of the entire site and at the quadrat scale, averaged across twelve quadrats per site (species names are abbreviated as follows: L. sal [Lythrum salicaria], T. spp [Typha spp.], P. aus [Phragmites australis], and P. aru [Phalaris arundinacea]). For Lythrum, Typha and Phalaris, percent cover was highly correlated among spatial scales (r ≥ 0.85, P < 0.001). Typha cover marked with an asterisk (*) indicates sites where T. angustifolia, T. x glauca or a combination of the two likely comprised the majority of all Typha cover at the site.
