TABLE D1. Results of local-scale morphological null model analyses applied to body size, shape size and body size + shape. The null assemblages were generated according two null models: Model 1 (Equiprobable source pool): all localities were assumed to have equal probability of colonization by the regional pool of species; Model 2 (Occurrence-weighted source pool): assuming species to have dispersal abilities equal to the number of occupied sites. Values in cells represent the probability of detecting non-random morphological traits distributions, i.e., even spacing of traits in observed assemblages (morphological divergence) or aggregation of morphological traits. Significant results (P < 0.025) or marginally significant (P < 0.05) are highlighted in bold type.
