   Notes: There was no significant difference in the size of mussels eaten by seastars and those that were available in the surrounding reef (F1 = 0.06, P = 0.95), nor did the size range of mussels eaten and available differ greatly. The findings suggest that as a population, sea star predation was not limited by the size of mussels available.
