Contours denote lines of equal , with the highest values of population growth rate occurring in the upper right hand of the plot. Survivorship had a stronger affect on Callibaetis i than fecundity over the range of observed values (contours are more nearly horizontal than vertical). All sinks ( < 1.0), except one, contained trout, and sources ( > 1.0) were either fishless or contained trout. Open circles = Fishless Control; Closed circles = Trout Control; Dotted triangles = Introduction Ponds; Solid triangles = Trout Reduction ponds.
