Gabriel Blouin-Demers and Patrick Nadeau. 2005. The cost-benefit model of thermoregulation does not predict lizard thermoregulatory behavior. Ecology 86:560–566.

Appendix D. Phylogenetic tree of study species generated from references in Appendix B and used to derive phylogenetically independent contrasts testing the cost-benefit model of thermoregulation. For illustrative purposes, tree topology was adjusted to have all terminal taxa equidistant from the root. In practice, phylogenetically independent contrasts were derived from an unrooted tree, with all branch lengths equal to one.
