TABLE A1.Classes of environmental predictors that showed significant differences between conditional probabilities of presence and pseudo-absence (random points), as tested by tests (values quoted differed at least at P < 0.05). Classes may vary between geographic areas, depending on differences in the distribution of land uses, climatic and topographic data.  The values of conditional probabilities were combined to prior probabilities with Bayes’ theorem to derive values of probability of presence. The percentage of correct classification of presence and pseudo-absence points as derived from computing Bayes’ theorem are quoted.
